- This headliner is designed to cover the hood frame on the inside of the vehicle and is purely cosmetic.
- Original version:
- The headliner for the BMW 3 Series E36 is available in three versions. If your convertible has a semi-automatic top, i.e. of the kind where you still have to close a catch once the roof has closed, you will need version 1. If your convertible has a fully automatic top that completely closes by itself, you will have to remove the plastic panel at the front edge (towards the windscreen) from the headliner and compare it with our pictures. You will either need the version without a recessed grip (OG) or with a recessed grip (MG) version depending on the headliner’s shape in the front corners (S-shaped or straight edge). If you are still unsure about the kind of headliner you need, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by phone or email.
