- Sealant for front bows of BMW 3 series E30, year of manufacture 87-93. There is normally a small gap between the seal and front bow after the new seal has been fitted. To waterproof this gap, apply sealant to the area between the seal and front bow on the outer left and right. If your vehicle is fitted with an original soft top, the sealant is normally still visible. According to our information, this manufacturer’s sealant was used in the original equipment too.
